The SJP offers many services to parents and families of disabled children including:

• Encouragement and some support of income generating groups such as poultry farming or brick making*
• Educational workshops about prevention and treatment of disabilities
• Opportunities to share knowledge and support with other parents
• Instruction in how to carry out a home therapy programme
• Parents Association participation
• Advisory Board participation
• Community building events like the World Disabled Day celebration
